Christmas

Christmas is almost here and we can't wait. We can't wait to get all the presents. On Christmas day we hang out with our family. Some people believe in Santa and some don't. We wonder what we are getting for Christmas.

Emily's wordle

Last week Room 23 made some wordles for ICT. We had to create  one about something we know lots about. Xiao Xiao and I did one together because we didn't know we had to do our own wordles. We decided dogs because we both know heaps about dogs. My favourite word is chihuahua because chihuahuas are so cute. We couldn't do our wordles on firefox because it wouldn't save the wordles. I had lots of fun doing the wordles.

Roots Of Empathy baby session

Today we had Roots Of Empathy and we got to see Adam. We gave him some baby toys so he could play with them. I think Adam's favourite toy was a this sort of cube  with lots of rings for him to hold. Adam was sucking a lot of things. Mrs Mulder put Adam on the roll to see if he would try and get the toy. Adam was trying really hard to get the toy but he was also being careful. I think Adam was being careful because last time he knocked his head.  We put on a CD for Adam to listen to and he looked a little bit confused when he heard the music coming from the computer. I think Adam's favourite songs were 'twinkle twinkle little star' and 'pop goes the weasel' because he kept dancing to it. Adam sort of cried a little bit but not for very long. I think Adam cried because when we were getting him to do something else we took the toy away.

Emily

I think this year will be a great year. We have already learnt two different types of maths. We have also learnt how to write two minute topics. They are really cool. Hopefully Room 23 is a cool class. I feel happy about having Mrs Penberthy as my teacher and I hope she will be a great teacher this year in Room 23. by Emily
