Production

The theme for production is Young Hercules. On Thursday we have to practice. The production will be on when it is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The tickets are on sale. The price of the tickets are $10 per person and $25 per family.

Billie B Brown The Copycat Kid
Author: Sally Rippen

This book is about a  girl called Billie.She has a new girl in her class and her name is Mika, Billie is going to show Mika around. Mika came from Japan. She dosen’t really know much English, and Mika was really shy. Billie showed Mika around.When Mika came in the class she was wearing one fancy headband, three star buttons and two purple shoes. Billie was really shocked and annoyed because that was what she was wearing. Then Billie was going to draw a world that is spotty but when she looked at Mika’s drawing she was drawing the same as Billie. Then Mika starts to copy Billie.


I like: When Mika and Billie meet each other.
I would recommend it to people who get copied.

The holidays

Term 3 has begun. We just finished the holidays. Some of us went to our friend's house, over seas, movies and lots more but some of us stayed home. I, Jessica went to Hamilton and I, Serena went to the movies and my friend's house. Everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Mindmaps

We have been learning how to make mindmaps. We have made some, we did it on Kidspration or Inspration. Serena's was about famous people and Samantha's was about Anzac Day. When we print it it was all black, grey and white.

Term 2

This term  has been a very wonderful time. We have enjoyed so many things together. We got to do still life drawing, folk dancing,  10 marbles, measurement, the movie and we are going to do more. I have had a wonderful time with Room 23.

Measurement

At school we have been learning about measurement. Some units are CM, MM,KM,M and KG. Some people have been struggling but thats ok. I think measurement is a bit tricky because I don't really understand. You can use lots of things to rule with for  example a ruler.

4th Baby visit with baby Adam and Candice

  On Thursday baby Adam came with Candice. He has grown a bit bigger because he has more hair. We were proud of him because he can get three balls but he can only hold two balls. In this picture he is only holding one ball. We showed him Melody but he wasn't interested.

Tennis

We do tennis on Thursdays. Our coach is Vicky. Some of the moves in tennis is nose toes back whack, serve, forehand and more. The hard part was whacking the ball because you might miss it.
