BUDDY CLASS MATHS

Today we joined forces with our buddy class, room 11 and instead of reading, we decided to play some Maths games.

 We enjoyed this fun maths game called Chance and Ladders....yes, there were some snakes too!

Mrs Smith joined in a cool game called True or False. She was quick, ....but we were too!

This awesome game is called Flies and you have to whack the fly with a fly swat which has the answer. You have to be really quick!

Room 23 children really enjoyed being teachers and working with the room 11 students.

It was fantastic to see everyone enjoying learning together. Well done!

KB BOOK REVIEW

Title: Lego Star Wars Visual Dictionary

This book is about all the Star Wars lego that is out. At the front of the book there is a timeline that shows all the lego that came out by the year. It shows all the lego sets one by one on each page. It’s got a summary about the lego set.There are chapters Like movie saga, clone wars and more.The book is about all the lego sets of Star Wars put into a book and about the set.It shows what the set can do and the lego people.There is a free lego figure that you can not get in any set; it is Luke Skywalker. I like the little graphs which show how many pieces it has, the year it came out,the number and the sets name. My favourite page is the timeline the year 2006.The thing I liked about the book was that it was Star Wars lego and I know what the set looked like.On the timeline there was not 2010 because that’s what it came out.There are two different versions of the book - there is a 2011 book and a 2010 book.I have the 2010 book.In the 2010 book I would recommend it should have the 2010 sets in the timeline.

Mindmaps

We have been learning how to make mindmaps. We have made some, we did it on Kidspration or Inspration. Serena's was about famous people and Samantha's was about Anzac Day. When we print it it was all black, grey and white.

Folk Dancing

Today at 2:20 we will be performing to the parents and other people. We will do different types of dances from around the world. The one I like is Seven Jumps from France. I enjoy doing Folk dancing. Also I cant wait till we perform to the parents.

Colins mindmap

Two or three weeks ago we created a mindmap of our choice. I did it about scootering. I think I did pretty good because I put in every thing I knew about scootering. The program we used was kidspiration. We had to have lots of ideas and know what your doing and add 2 or 3 pictures.

My wordle is all about WWE. I chose this topic because I like watching it and doing it. Sometimes I wonder how it feels being a pro wrestler and doing all those hard moves? by Allan.

This books about a girl named Emma Jacks and all the problems that she has. One day Emma Jacks and her friend Elle were practicing their dance routine for the school concert. Emma Jacks is a special secret agent that worked for Shine. Shine is a secret agency that stops evil. Emma had worked for shine for three years, and had gone on many missions and stopped the evil agency shadow. That day Emma and her friends had band practice. During band practice Emma’s phone rang. Piinng! Emma looked at her phone she knew that Shine needed her. That second she told her friends that she had to go. Emma raced to the girls bathroom witch was the shine entry. Emma entered her pin code then her phone said “Welcome back EJ12”. WHOOOOOOOOOSH. Then she slid down the mission tube. Next she had to do sign her autograph.So she did. Emma loved writing her name but she thought she should do it normally. She walked in to the meeting room and sat down.Her mission popped up on the screen.Right away EJ12 got ready. She was very excited. She got all the things she needed.And so her adventure begun!
I would recommend this book to people that like adventure and good and evil.
