| What are some other parts of our bodies we could measure? |

| We have been doing some art. We got to choose what table we were going to sit at. The type of art we were doing was 'still life drawing'. On one table was 3 vases, on another table was 2 breakfast tools (toast slice and salt and pepper holder), on another table there was a candle stick holder, on another table there was a teapot. We used sketching pencils, if we didn't have one we got to use Mrs Penberthy's if we had one then we got to use our own. We did shading to the 'still life drawings'.We also darkened the edges. Now some of us have finished and they are on the wall. Some of us haven't finished,so they are still working on it. |

| Today we did some measuring with ruling tape. We also measured some parts of our body. We first estimated our measurements and then we actually measured them. We are learning about the units of measurement such as millimetres, centimetres, metres, kilometres, kilograms and lots more. It is fun to measure. |
